First Gallery Show

It has been weeks and weeks since I last blogged; sometimes it amazes me how quickly time flies. My days have been long and stressful, filled with packing, shooting, more packing, printing, even more packing, and finally moving. I came up with this crazy idea of putting all of my belongings into storage so I could gallivant around the globe with my camera in tow. I actually thought it would be a piece of cake; I was wrong. Needless to say, after ten rolls of packing tape, forty heavy-duty Home Depot boxes, one ton of industrial strength shrink wrap, twelve coats of Swiss Coffee paint to cover my royal blue walls, about eighty trips in a week's time, and the help of few amazing friends, the job is finally done!

Amidst the craziness of the move, I was also preparing for my very first gallery show! It has been a challenging month, but I can proudly say that the images of the "City Lights" series are now gracing the walls of one of the finest salons in So Cal, Pomp. The salon is located on Ocean Avenue, just a few steps away from the infamous Santa Monica Pier.

A special thank you goes to Lisa Dixon, owner of Pomp, who invited me to display my work at her salon. To view a slideshow of the completed series, click here.
