While most of our time in Provence was dedicated to resting and recharging in the countryside, we did take a day-trip to the city of Aix-en-Provence. Several hours were spent perusing the Musée Granet, a museum chock-full of works by Cézanne, Matisse, Van Gogh, and Picasso. And we couldn't help but soak in the French culture by people watching at the local markets, "surveying" the countless cafes and bakeries, and exploring every boutique possible...
