Hawaii, Part II

When I think of Hawaii, I envision picturesque beaches with vibrant sunsets, towering palm trees, grass skirts, waves, surfers, etc.  You'll see plenty of that in the last blog of this series.  For now, I wanted to share a few images of locals just living the day-to-day on their tropical island.

Europe: Summer 2013

Annnd let the one-month countdown commence!  For those of you who haven't heard, I will be traveling to Europe this summer for a couple of months to do some portfolio building.  Below is a map of the route my travel-agent-extraordinaire copilot, Nicole Bravo, has carefully carved out for us.  We have some incredible adventures lined up, so be sure to check back if you feel like traveling to Europe vicariously through us!

Hawaii, Part I

Last month, I spent a couple weeks with family in Hawaii.  These are a few snaps from my visit to tourist central Waikiki.  Don't worry, many pretty scenery images to come later in the series, I promise!

Tour of California

Tour of California, the biggest cycling race in the states, begins this weekend.  For the first time ever, it's traveling South to North.  Since it's in my neck of the woods, I thought I'd wake up early and check it out.  While I'm not typically a sports photographer, I really do enjoy shooting events like this one.  I can't imagine the amount of passion and endurance it must take to do something like this--inspiring!
