I wanted to share a few more images from my weekend in Mammoth. Like every other body of work, the images take on a whole new shape once they've been put through post production. The color palette of these images is just lovely. Subtle lighting and serene subjects, perfect for a wintery landscape.

The Love Bug
Shirley pulled up in her 1964 Beetle just in time. The sun sank below the horizon, and we had begun to wrap another successful shoot--a great way to welcome in the weekend. But before I could put down my camera, I couldn't resist snapping a few frames of Shirley. Unlike most strangers, Shirley immediately lit up when I asked to photograph her in the car. As it turns out, she is the original owner of the bug, and has journeyed more than a million miles in it! Amazing.
