In the Studio...

Monday afternoon was quite productive, spending time in the studio with hip hop artist Nick Bravo and his producer Anthony Salerno, sharing vision, and sampling tracks for Nick's upcoming album.  There's just something about working with other creatives that, without fail, always renews my passion for my craft.  So thankful to be working on this project, definitely looking forward to the new album!  Here are a few images from the afternoon!  Enjoy.

Weekend Away

Growing up in Colorado, I always took camping and the "great" outdoors for granted.  I believe I've finally grown out of that one.  After spending a weekend on Palomar Mountain with a group of good friends, creation has never seemed so beautiful to me.

In a Friday Funk

Seriously, you're blogging on a Friday night?  Yuuup.  Ever have those days when things just don't go according to plan?  Welcome to my Friday [she flashes a fake smile].  To put it mildly, it's not been a good day.  But, hey, I love my job, so I'm doing something that will bring me pleasure--try and stop me. 

I've not posted in a while.  Don't worry, I've been shooting, I promise.  It's just all been on film.  I finally made it to the lab this week.  Yay for the fair.

Timeless Beauty

Double-take

I did a double-take yesterday when I opened Google's homepage...

Turns out, you can set your own image under you Gmail accounts...yeah, clearly I forgot I did that. 

The Haar

I spent the early morning in San Diego's fog-filled coast-lands.  Driving back home, I recalled the day this photograph was taken in Aberdeen--in the dense fog that so often looms above the land; the Scots would call it the haar.  Thought I'd share.  Happy Tuesday.
